When I try to go on chat it doesnt work. The chat screen goes black and there is no sound at all. Can you please tell me how to fix this.

There might be a problem with xat. Try going on ACP's site and use the smaller chat. If this is still not working than go to the ACP command center, which apparently, is still around.
